Namo maha-vadanyaya

Srila Prabhupada explains: "If Caitanya Mahaprabhu is pleased, He can give krishna-prema, love of Krishna, to anyone, regardless of that person's qualification. If a person is giving charity, he can select anyone to take it. Without the mercy of Caitanya Mahaprabhu, understanding Krishna is very, very difficult. Manushyanam sahasreshu kascid yatati siddhaye (Bg. 7.3): out of many millions of people, hardly one tries to make his life spiritually successful. People simply work like animals, not knowing how to make a success of human life. One's human life is successful when one understands Krishna; otherwise one remains an animal. Anyone who is not Krishna conscious, who does not know who Krishna is, is no better than an animal. But Caitanya Mahaprabhu gave this concession to the fallen souls of this age: "Simply chant the Hare Krishna maha-mantra and you will be delivered." This is Caitanya Mahaprabhu's special concession. (Teachings of Queen Kunti –24)

As a humble homage to Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu, “Namo mahavadanyaya…” is a presentation of the glories of Lord Caitanya’s magnanimity as explained by Srila Prabhupada. The devotees may read and increase their love and gratitude towards the most merciful Lord Caitanya.
